Yook Sung Jae is the maknae, vocalist and dancer of BTOB, and rapped as "Yook Duk" in the parody project group Big Byung. He took his first acting role in Plus Nine Boys (2014) and broke through the next year leading Who Are You: School 2015. In Goblin (2016) he played Yoo Deok Hwa, the last heir of the family that looks after Kim Shin, and he has since led Mystic Pop-up Bar (2020), The Golden Spoon (2022) and The Haunted Palace (2025). His fans are called Yookies.
