Seo Ji Young is a South Korean musical actress, screen actress and university professor, born in Jeju.

Her reputation was made on stage: she took Best Actress at the Korea Musical Awards twice running, at the 8th ceremony in 2002 and the 9th in 2003. She studied German language and literature at Kyungwon University and took a master's in musical music at Dankook University.

On screen she has worked steadily in recent years, in "Class of Lies" and "Level Up" (2019), "Hyena" (2020), "Ghost Doctor" and "Thirty-Nine" (2022), "The Heavenly Idol" (2023), "Miss Granny" and "DNA Lover" (2024) and the Netflix series "Karma" (2025), along with the film "I Killed My Wife".

She is married to the musical director Wang Yong Bum. Her older brother is the actor Seo Tae Hwa, and the rapper Crown J is her cousin.
