Kim Woo Bin started out on the runway, debuting as a model in 2009 and working the Seoul Fashion Week collections. Acting followed in 2011 with White Christmas and Vampire Idol, and the roles that made his name came quickly after: the delinquent Park Heung Soo in School 2013, Choi Young Do in The Heirs (2013), and the films Friend: The Great Legacy (2013), Twenty (2015) and Master (2016). He was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in May 2017 and finished treatment that December, stepping away from work until Our Blues and Alienoid brought him back in 2022.
